Louis Wain Fact #14:

Wain was quite a charitable person. He was involved in many animal charities, including the Anti-Vivisection Society and the Society for the Protection of Cats. He also frequently illustrated and published heartwarming advertisements in his annuals free of charge for Dr. Barnado’s Homes for children.
