Louis Wain Fact #69:
Wain accumulated a collection of over 300 china, glass, metal and wooden cats, sent to him from admirers in all parts of the world, including a Chinese cat allegedly over 2,000 years old. While these were exhibited by his sisters a few times after his death, the current fate of this collection is unknown.

Full to the brim of sours;
But I rather think the sun doth shine
Though many golden hours.
Note how the lark doth speed with song
On merry, tripping wing;
Pack up your world of troublous cares -
A merry heart doth sing.
