While the book ‘Peter, Cat’o’One Tail’ is somewhat fictionalised and sensationalised, some of its seemingly unlikely details actually have their root in truth. Peter sometimes played dead, went missing for a short time, and actually put his paws together in a prayer-like position, sometimes even mewing.
