Louis Wain Fact #44:
Wain was an avid collector of many things. When he was living with his sisters, he would constantly go out and spend money he didn't really have on various trinkets. Wain kept nearly everything he got while hospitalised too, leading to mice nesting in old newspapers he kept around.

Full to the brim of sours;
But I rather think the sun doth shine
Though many golden hours.
Note how the lark doth speed with song
On merry, tripping wing;
Pack up your world of troublous cares -
A merry heart doth sing.
